Meet the Staff

Bishop Richard J. Wills, Jr: Bishop Wills was elected a bishop by the Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference of The United Methodist Church in July 2004 and assigned to the Nashville Area (the Tennessee and Memphis Annual Conferences). He and his wife Eileen Willis Wills live in Nashville.

The Rev. Jim Beaty: Jim was appointed Superintendent of the Pulaski District of the Tennessee Conference in June 2008. Jim oversees the ministry of the Hardin, Wayne, Lawrence, Giles, and Lincoln County United Methodist Churches. He is married to Barbara and they reside in Pulaski.

Rev. Thomas H. Ward: Tommy has served as one of the pastors of Fayetteville FUMC since June 2006. Tommy grew up just down the road in Pulaski, TN and has called middle Tennessee home for most of his life. Tommy has a Masters of Divinity degree from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. He is married to Ivana and they have one son, Nicolas.

Rev. Ann Hatcher: Ann has served as one of the pastors of Fayetteville FUMC since January of 2008. Prior to that, Ann worked as the Program Director of the church. Ann is married to Billy and they have two children, Carrie and Bond.

Lynne Wood: Lynne began her ministry with our church in July 2010. She is married to Ken and they have two grown daughters, Lindsay and Lauren. Lynne is also the proud grandmother of Cooper.

Jeff Bradford: Jeff began his ministry as our church custodian in 2002. He is married to Shannon Bradford and is father to Ashlee, Patrick, Bailie, Landon, and Adrienne. Jeff is also a proud grandfather of Avery.

Mike Bradford: Mike Bradford began his ministry as Director of Contemporary Music in . Mike is married to wife Mellea and also works for the family owned Bradford Appliance.

Barry Petty: Barry has served an Music Director of Fayetteville FUMC since January of 1991. Barry has a B.S. in Music Education and a M.A. also in Music Education from the University of Alabama. Barry is also choral director at Lee High School in Huntsville, AL where he has been for 16 years.

Vivienne Atkins: Vivienne Atkins is the Organist for the 11 am traditional service. She is married to Ken and they make their home in Meridianville, Alabama.
