Becoming a Member
Have you been worshipping with us for a while and desire to make deeper commitment to Christ and our church? Would you like to covenant together with God and the members of this church to profess your faith in Christ and live as one of His disciples? There are two ways to make that commitment:
Confession of Faith and/or Baptism. If you have never made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ, you will need to do so in order to be a member of The United Methodist Church. If you have never been baptized, we will baptize you in one of three ways: sprinkling, pouring, or immersion. Those who have been baptized in a Christian denomination may also reaffirm their baptism, their faith in Jesus Christ, and their commitment to live as a disciple of Christ.
Transfer of Membership. The United Methodist Church recognizes the baptism of all other Christian denominations. If you are a baptized member of a Christian denomination, you may unite with our congregation by a simple transfer of membership.
